WebChurch Officers, Elections and Duties. The Church Officers are the Moderator, the Treasurer, the Financial Secretary (if applicable) and the Clerk. The church officers shall be active members who are regular church attendees and are accountable to the congregation and the Church Council. WebThe member who made the motion is entitled to speak first. Every member has the right to speak in debate or discussions. The Chair should alternate between those "for" the motion and those "against" the motion. The discussion should be related to the pending motion. Avoid using a person's name in debate.
