Ionic liquid gating
Web7 jan. 2024 · The presence of the pores favors an effective contact of the ionic liquid with the semiconductor film during ion gating (Tartakovsky and Dentz 2024). Films on PI substrates show pores smaller than that of SiO 2 /Si, likely because of the greater affinity of PCDTPT to hydrophobic substrates (Williams and Goodman 1974 , Soon et al 2013 ). WebExperimental phenomena and theoretical calculations confirm that this ionic-liquid gate can effectively modulate the alignment between molecular frontier orbitals and the Fermi energy level of graphene electrodes, thus tuning the charge-transport properties of the junctions.
